The treatment process begins when oily wastewater enters the primary screening chamber, where coarse solids and debris are removed through a durable filtration screen. This stage protects downstream equipment and prevents clogging. A spiral-driven sludge conveying mechanism continuously removes trapped solids and transfers them to a dedicated sludge collection container. By separating suspended solids at the initial stage, the system significantly improves the efficiency of subsequent oil separation processes.

Following pre-filtration, the wastewater flows into the oil separation chamber, which is designed with a conical geometry to promote effective gravity separation. Due to density differences, lighter oil droplets rise to the surface while heavier water settles below. Over time, the oil layer accumulates at the top and can be easily monitored through a built-in sight glass. To enhance separation efficiency in colder climates or for viscous oils, the system includes an automated thermal heating unit that maintains optimal temperature conditions, preventing oil solidification and ensuring smooth discharge through the automated oil collection mechanism.
